Ron Fairchild is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, engineer with an almost 50-year history of creating on both the recording and touring sides of the music industry. While Ron’s main instrument is piano and keyboards, he is also accomplished at bass, guitar, tap guitar, French horn and flute. He has been an Artist Endorser of Yamaha Synthesizers and keyboards since 2001, and also frequently utilizes a Nord C2D, Nord Stage 4, Nord Wave 2 and the Arturia Collection 9 of Software Synths. His primary Synthesizer is the Moog ONE. He uses tap guitars by WARR, Steinberger bass, and a Roscoe 6-string and Tobias Fretless 5-string. Ron has been the keyboardist for the Oak Ridge Boys for 44 years. He has engineered and played on a great number of recording projects over a wide span of musical genres.

In addition, Ron is also a professional photographer with over 70,000 images from around the world in his Aviation Portfolio alone. Ron specializes in Aerial Photography and enjoys the thrill of hanging out of airplanes taking aerial shots. His equipment includes Nikon D850, Nikon D800, and Nikon D500 bodies, and Nikkor 14-24mm Zoom, Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 Zoom, Sigma 150-600mm F5.6 Zoom, and Sigma 24-105mm Zoom lenses.

When not working, Ron enjoys traveling with his wife, Kim, to the Caribbean islands and spending time with his family, including 4 GREAT-grandkids…two girls and two boys who he adores! As an avid aviation enthusiast, you might find him sitting for hours observing and photographing aircraft of all types. In addition, Ron has been a Licensed FCC Ham Radio Operator, call sign KF4FQA, Advanced Class, since 1995.
